Pedlars' Day
Last Wednesday 12th November, 6S and 6W held Pedlars' Day at Marton Public School as one final fundraiser to raise money for their year 6 farewell. They had spent many hours in their school holidays creating posters, shop names, deigning products and collecting and making items to sell.
The end result was a truly fantastic experience for all students from K-6, with many children walking around with a bag full of goodies purchased from the stalls. A huge thank you to all the parents of the year 6 students, for supplying the goods to sell at the stalls, and to the rest of the Marton Public School families for supporting the day.
The year 6 students commented that they learnt many great team work skills, how to give correct change, how to solve problems with unhappy customers and a little bit about how to run their own store. More than $2000 was raised on the day, which could not have been achieved without your support.
THANK YOU! 6S, 6W and The Year 6 Teachers
